Areas Of Specialization
While I work with clients navigating a variety of issues and challenges, I am especially focused on supporting individuals with anxiety, low self-worth, and eating or body related concerns.
These issues often overlap, and I work collaboratively with clients to address the whole picture.
Anxiety
Whether you are struggling with constant worries, fear of a particular experience, panic, or social anxiety, there is hope.
Anxiety can be a very painful, isolating, experience that dominates so much of your life, but relief is possible. You can live a life where you are not haunted by fear!
In my work I help clients understand their anxiety on a deeper level, build confidence, and find practical strategies for daily life.
Self-Worth
Struggling with self-worth can show up as constant self-criticism, people-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries, having a hard time trusting yourself, or feeling “not enough.”
In counselling, we explore how these patterns developed and work toward building a more compassionate, trusting relationship with yourself.
Eating Disorders &
Disordered Eating
Eating disorders are complex illnesses and can emerge as a way to cope with traumatic or distressing life experiences. They are also very difficult to work through on your own. As someone who has experience in this field, I believe healing and recovery are possible and that counselling is an important component of that journey.
Whether you have been formally diagnosed with an eating disorder or are self-identifying challenges in regards to your eating, exercise, or body image, I am here to support you.
