Welcome, I'm Brandy.

I'm so glad you are here.

I'm a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and I have a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology from Adler University.

I work in this field because I believe that healing is always possible, and I have seen firsthand the power that counselling can have in facilitating growth and change. Working in a space that allows me to create deep connections with people, and guide them towards a greater relationship with themselves, is a passion of mine. It is an honor to be invited into people’s hearts and lives and to walk alongside them on their journey.

My Philosophy

I believe deeply in the power of relationships and that it is in relationship that healing ultimately occurs. Being seen is a fundamental need of every person, and I strive to create a space where people can feel safe enough to share their truth and feel accepted for exactly who they are.

I believe that there is meaning in your struggles and regardless of what you have been through and are experiencing, you are not broken. I am here to walk alongside you on your journey of healing, every step of the way.

My Approach

My approach is client-centered, trauma informed, and deeply relational in nature. I primarily draw on Person-Centered, Emotion-Focused, and Narrative therapeutic modalities, as well as Internal Family Systems. I also incorporate

Cognitive and Behavioral approaches as necessary. However, all of my work is tailored to the individual and their specific preferences and needs.

Who I Work With

I work with adults and youth who live in British Columbia, Canada. I offer in-person sessions at my office in North Vancouver as well as virtual sessions via Doxy.
