Exploring Your Anxiety

Often anxiety can feel completely overwhelming and we can feel pulled around by it. Caught in a cycle of fear without really knowing what is going on or what we need to make changes.

As a result, I have compiled a list of reflection questions designed to help you better understand your anxiety (including your triggers and current ways of responding), and create a game plan for moving forward - identifying the supports and resources you may need.

Included is also a list of grounding, coping, and emotion regulation tools that you may find useful in regulating anxiety (and other strong emotions).

Understanding Social Anxiety

- Coming Soon -

Social anxiety can be a debilitating experience, yet it is one that so often is misunderstood. Having anxiety in social situations and fearing what other people think of you is in no way a weakness, or simply a product of being shy, and it is not a lack of willpower that keeps you stuck. Instead, social anxiety is a very real issue that can affect every aspect of your life - from the the way you think, feel, act, and view yourself. While it can feel like a prison when you're stuck in it, there are ways to free yourself and begin living the life you truly desire.

This is a document that outlines social anxiety, including what it is, signs and symptoms, elements involved in healing, and a variety of different supports that may be helpful. It is my intention that this information will help you better understand yourself (or your loved one who is suffering), and give you a direction for moving forward that feels hopeful and empowering.
